Cherith Bible Institute Pangasinan - Who We Are
We are an extension school under Cherith Bible Institute in the US, which is Baptistic in
nature and reflects the doctrine and distinctives of Independent Baptist beliefs. The course
of study is a thirty unit Diploma of Biblical Studies program designed to help local church
pastors, workers, missionaries, church planters, and Bible teachers. The program
advances from basic Bible survey courses to selected subjects concerning personal and
local church development.
Cherith Bible Institute of Pangasinan is
located in Dagupan City and has its
headquarters at Lighthouse Baptist
Church.
Our  classes are a 3 year course which
offer a diploma in Pastoral Leadership
and Christian Leadership.
Though we offer a wealth of training, it is
our burden to offer this training free of
charge to the student. CBIP operates on
a no tuition basis.
We claim the verse in Prov. 23:23, " Buy
the truth and sell it not; also wisdom,
and instruction, and understanding."
CBIP currently trains the members of the Basto family's church plants, however, we would
accept students from afar who are active members of like-faith churches who are
recommended by their pastors and meet the standards of CBIP. Tuition and Curriculum is
absolutely free, but the students who need housing in our men and ladies dorms will be
required to pay housing and food expenses.
